I was in this church today and it was a total shock. The church has been allowed to deteriorate dramatically, and is about to be closed (within a week or so). Is there anyone who can help me find a way to save/restore it? I will try to send pictures to this blog for posting to show the ruinous state of the church. This is a national treasure. It must be saved! Please contact me by email, harrytoll@optonline.net
To the blog author. I just left a comment saying this church is in deteriorated shape. I am not sure this is right. Is the Methodist church pictured in Norwalk Connecticut? In looking closely at the pictures it appears that the church you have photos of is almost exactly the same architecture but not the same church as the one in Norwalk Connecticut (which is the church that is severely deteriorating). I am not sure and don't want to post in error. I will send you pictures of the Norwalk Connecticut church tomorrow. Best regards, Harry Toll
"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renewed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.”

Very beautifull this church
Wow! That dome deserves the overdone slang "awesome". Most impressive Methodist church I've ever seen.
What does the outside look like?
STUNNING!!
Oops! Bad me.

No, this one's Norwalk, Ohio. Good luck, though.
