Broadway Houses
Old South End Houses may not be elaborate, but they usually have character.

However, many of the houses between the Oliver House and the union depot were quite elaborate. Some survived into the 1980's, but I don't know if any are left now.
The Newkom house is still there, and a Queen Anne style one beside it. That's all along Broadway. There are some interesting ones off on the side streets, though.
