Woodlawn Cemetery

Edward and Florence Libbey

Chief Justice Waite

I'm a bit surprised the stained glass turned out so well, since some were taken through clear glass or plexiglass panes in the doors.

There are some excellent Gothic monuments from the 1920's.

I believe I have enough for about three days of posts. More tomorrow.

I really enjoy the detail you can see, when you click on the photo for a larger view.

Great work!

reminds me of Norwalk's woodlawn cemetery...but much more extravagant.

This is really cool. Reminds of a place I know where the better class of people go when the die. Thanks for posting.

Unfortunately, too many of them did go there, leaving Toledo with not enough of the better sort to counteract the working class attitudes that are holding it back.
