ShariYS said...: I'm not a great connoisseur of modern churches in any case, but that spire rises up so high and far above the rest of the town, and demands so much attention, that we had to cruise by there on the way out of town to get a few shots. Note also the unusual-for-Lutheran statue on the base of the tower. If my mother hadn't been in such a hurry to get home, I would have parked the car and gone in for some shots, since there was a street fair on the next block and the church was obviously open for business.; August 18, 2008 at 6:48 PM
