Yes. St. Anne's was merged with St. Benedict the Moor and another parish whose name I can't remember to form this one. The exterior is perfectly preserved and the altars, murals, and most of the interior kept up. Unfortunately, they've gotten rid of the pews and set up a dinner theater type of arrangement, complete with a "liturgical dance" troop. All the latest bells and whistles ( If you're stuck in the 70's ) but the congregation's dwindled to 259 registered parishioners. Nice big church with "new" ideas ( Right from 30 years ago ), but it's the second smallest of Toledo's thirty parishes.
"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renewed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.”

St. Theresa, on Dorr St.
Thank you.
I remember as a child, we used to park in the St Anne's parking lot to go to Mud Hens games at the old Swayne Field.
