well, Jeffrey, perhaps we'll never meet, but on some level, our esthetics seem to be on the very same plane. You have the eye for the details that fascinates me. I just discovered this blog after wondering what had happened to your other one. I was just in Toledo for the first time in 2 years for a week. I am in NYC now, but I leave back for France on Wednesday morning. It's raining here and I'm trying to relax before my big trip back, but I will check this out more.... I definitely find the observation of architectural detail and the echoes of an age when craftsmanship more than just mattered, that you present here very rewarding. Thank You!
"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renewed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.”
