Uncooperative buggers. They were turning cartwheels at 100 ft over the back yard. By the time I got the camera they were heading home.

The Wild Side of Toledo

You can't tell from this picture, but that's a bald eagle flying over the river's edge, in the Old South End. Last time I saw him, he was right over the back yard. I didn't have a camera handy, so he put on quite a show for me, that time.

This time, I had the camera, but he was in too much of a hurry to stick around while I got it out of my pocket.

This one will show what an uncooperative bugger he was. That's a flagpole. If he'd flown back this way and I'd raised the camera while he was in the right spot, I could have gotten a spectacular shot.
