Old Post Office, Tiffin, Ohio
Magnificent building. In spite of the Greek details, it has an almost Egyptian feel to it. Let's compromise and say it would fit right in at Ptolemaic Alexandria. Photo by Kevin Hammer
"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renewed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.”

Is the old post office decorated with paintings or artwork done by WPA artists during the Depression?
(As is the case in Chicago ...)
I don't think this one, but there are a lot like that in Ohio. I know, because my nephew is doing research on the subject.
A few more pictures here - I don't think there's any artwork:

Fostoria's Post Office has a lot of cool Art Deco metalwork though.
